On April, 25-29, 2022, the Annual International Scientific Conference "Neradovsky Readings" was held in St. Petersburg. It was timed to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Museum Restoration Service. For many years the Russian Museum has always been the organizer of the conference.
The conference was held in the online and off-site modes and divided into several sections devoted to the history of conservation work, restoration work and the practice of museum collections preservation. The target audience of the Conference was executives and employees of the art museums of Russia – museum custodians, employees of register and storage of museum objects departments, art conservators and restorers, climatologists, chemists, biologists, technologists and other specialist whose goal is to preserve the cultural heritage.
At the conference, the staff of VNISI presented the report “Methods of measuring”
Illumination Distribution Methods for Museum Exhibits Using Modern Photodetectors", describing a non-contact method of measuring illumination levels of museum exhibits and exhibition halls, was presented at the conference.
